ChongWoo Park has recently received his Ph. D. in the Department of Computer Information Systems at Georgia State University (GSU). He received his B.E. and M.B.A. degrees from Korea University and his Master of Information Management degree from Syracuse University.

Grounded in his prior experience in the information systems consulting field, ChongWoo has the desire to research issues relevant to information systems professionals. His research programs are comprised of three research areas: bad news reporting on IT projects, information seeking behavior, and IT/IS adoption. He has published several conference papers with additional manuscripts under review at journals such as Decision Sciences.

Prior to his Ph.D. study, ChongWoo worked as a systems analyst for a major U.S. lift truck manufacturer and a consultant for a global IT consulting firm.

ChongWoo has recently received the 2007 Dissertation Award from Georgia State University and the 2007 GTA Teaching Excellence Award from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
