Education and Learning

Education and learning represents the fundamentals of existence. From the very beginning, we are learning how to walk, talk, run, and play. As we grow older, we are introduced into a more education-oriented platform with public schools and later, the opportunity to pursue higher education. Our society pushes for education to be a main focus on our lives, constantly learning and advancing ourselves in every way possible. Not only do you learn from teachers, but those same teachers learn from teaching. There are seven different types of “Learning”.

  1. Visual (Spatial): pictures, images, and spatial understanding
  2. Aural (Auditory-musical): sound & music
  3. Verbal (linguistic): words, both in speech and writing
  4. Physical (kinesthetic): use body, hands, and sense of touch
  5. Logical (mathematical): logic, reasoning, and systems
  6. Social (interpersonal): learning in groups/with other people
  7. Solitary (intrapersonal): work alone/use self -study
