In this project I demonstrate the effect on file size (and therefore download speed) of saving an audio file in various formats

The effect of different sampling criteria on audio quality:


All the audio downloads (shown above) are full CD quality sampled at 44,100 samples per second with a 2 byte quantization level.

Below I demonstrate the effect of changing the sample rate and quantization level:
