Hello fellow readers! I am Annalise Reagan, currently a senior studying General Biology with the plans to go to graduate school. I have lived in the metro Atlanta area my whole life with my two older siblings Jacob and Heather. Growing up as the youngest child, I never did anything wrong because I quickly learned how to hide, how to punch back, and how to act like I was not guilty thanks to my older siblings. As the first memeber in my family to receive a college education, I am incredibly happy and excited to see what the future will hold.
Although I have lived around Atlanta my whole life, I enjoy traveling very much. May 2015 was actually my first time on a plane, were I traveled to Costa Rica! This was a Tropical Biology course with Dr. Schlueter here at GGC, that partnered with EF College Tours. It was a perfect trip, filled with tons of birds and monkeys above, friends constantly laughing, and plenty of hiking in the rainforest! As I end my last semester of college, I am constantly looking back on these wonderful memories I have created.
After graduation in December 2015, I plan to go to graduate school for wildlife research. It has always been my passion to work with animals, so I hope to work with local animal rescues and zoological parks. In my free time you will find me shopping or hiking, always with food in hand. I enjoy trying new cuisines and drinks, dancing with puppies, and running to new destinations. In the next few years, I will move from my home of almost 15 years, get married to the most wonderful person out there, and start a position in my field of work. I am excited for digital media as I will learn new programs to enhance my computer skills and prepare myself for my last semester!
